107.7 The End, KNDD-FM
“End-olocity� Contests
Each week until further notice, from Thursday to Thursday, 107.7 The End will conduct an “Endolocity� Contest. Each week’s contest will be a separate contest but will each be governed by these contest rules. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Station reserves the right not to conduct (skip) this contest on any particular week from time to time, in its sole discretion.
WHO CAN ENTER:
1. Contest is open to legal Washington State residents 21 and over as of the date of the applicable grand prize contest drawing.
2. KNDD may require proof of age, legal residency, identification and social security number prior to delivering a prize.
3. Employees of Entercom Seattle, LLC d/b/a KNDD 107.7 The End (“Station� or “KNDD�), its parent, subsidiaries, contest sponsors, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any other Seattle area radio stations and the immediate family and other household members (i.e., spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, roommates, housemates, significant others, partners, and siblings) of each of the above are NOT eligible to enter and/or to win.
4. Contest is open to anyone who has not won any prize from KNDD in the 30 days immediately preceding the starting date of this Contest.
5. If the grand prize is a trip for travel on fixed dates and/or for a particular event, entrants who are not available to travel on the dates specified should not enter this contest.
HOW TO ENTER & WIN:
6. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
7. Each contest starts at 5:00pm (PST) on Thursdays and ends at 4:49pm (PST) on the immediately following Thursday.
8. There are two ways to enter:
a. Enter by sending in a 3x5 card that includes your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address to: Endolocity Contest, 1100 Olive Way, Suite 1650, Seattle, Washington 98101. In order to be entered into the contest, the entry must be received by Station via first class US mail between the first Friday of the Contest and the immediately following Thursday (mail received on Thursdays will only be entered in the drawing that occurs that Thursday evening). Only one entry per envelope will be recognized in this contest. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Station is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected or postage due entries or entries not received by the entry deadline. All entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible or from ineligible entrants will be void. Incomplete entries may be disqualified in Station’s sole discretion. All entries become the property of Station and will not be acknowledged or returned.
b. At anytime between 5:00pm (PST) on Thursdays and ends at 4:49pm (PST) on the immediately following Thursday, call (206) 421.1077 or toll free at 1.800.423.1077, ask to be entered into that week’s Endolocity contest and provide all required information. There is no cue to call. Station will accept calls 24 hours per day during the contesting period -- however, Station is not obligated to always answer the telephone. In order to be entered, you must speak to a Station representative who answers the telephone and provide your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. Only calls received at the preceding phone numbers are eligible to participate in this contest. Station is not responsible for any technical difficulties experienced due to loss of phone service, electronic problems or any other factor that may prevent an individual from completing a phone call or for any technical malfunction related to any telephone connection or any other technical problem that may impact entry or prize claim including, without limitation, any internet telephone call connections. Station is not responsible for disconnected, dropped, misdirected, lost or incomplete calls.
9. On or about 5:01pm PST on each Thursday, Station will randomly select one entrant to win the grand prize.
10. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone. Station will make 3 attempts, within a 24-hour time period beginning immediately following the drawing, to contact the potential Grand Prize winner. If Station is unable to reach the potential Grand Prize winner within this time frame, he/she may be disqualified and an alternate may be selected by Station. These same procedures will be followed in contacting any alternate winner. In the event that Station is unable to have personal telephonic contact with a potential Grand Prize winner and have all required documents executed and returned at least one business day prior to the Grand Prize trip departure date, the Grand Prize may not be awarded.
ODDS OF WINNING:
11. Odds of winning depend on number of entries/callers received.
PRIZES:
12. One (1) grand prize will be awarded in each contest.
13. Each grand prize will be a trip. Specific restrictions regarding each such trip will be provided, if applicable, to the winner. Unless restrictions delivered to a specific winner or announced on-air differ from the following, the following will apply generally to all prizes awarded in each of these contests:
(a) Any prize involving air travel will include only round-trip, coach-class air transportation from a commercial airport in the greater Seattle area.
(b) Any prize that involved tickets for a specific event on fixed dates shall only be available for the specific travel dates designated by the Station. These dates are non-negotiable and inability to utilize the prize on the Station-determined dates may result ion forfeiture of the prize, in Station’s sole discretion.
(c) Any prize involving overnight accommodations will include only one room, double occupancy; room and tax only; neither incidental expenses nor ground transportation will be included.
(d) Any prize involving travel (overnight accommodations, flight, motor coach, and/or rail etc…) may require that the winner and/or the winner’s guest(s) be over 18.
(e) Any prize involving travel (overnight accommodations, flight, motor coach, and/or rail etc.) is based on availability and subject to additional restrictions including blackouts, peak period restrictions and expiration dates imposed by Station, sponsors and/or agents participating in the contest. These restrictions are not subject to negotiation. In addition, such winners/guests are solely responsible for obtaining any international travel documents, visas or passports required. Reservations are non-transferable and once booked and confirmed may not be re-scheduled.
(f) With respect to travel and/or event tickets of any kind, Station and sponsors are not responsible for replacing or reimbursing winners with any form of compensation for flights or events that are canceled, rescheduled or delayed. All cancellations are deemed beyond the control of Station and its sponsors. This includes, but is not limited to, event cancellations, trip schedule changes, flight cancellations, changes in travel arrangements, travel delays of any form and duration, as well as all delays or cancellations due to acts of nature, terrorism (including threats), illness or war. Additionally, Station is not responsible for any work stoppage that may affect Station’s ability to provide any of the prizes. Station is not responsible for any expenses incurred by contest winners as a result of such cancellations or delays.
14. Contest winner will be notified when contest paperwork, including travel itinerary, is ready and available for pick up at the radio station (1100 Olive Way, Suite #1650, Seattle, WA 98101) during regular business hours (Monday – Friday), 8:30am-5:30pm. Winner may wish to call business office at 206.577.2539 to confirm hours and availability. Winners have 10 days from the date winner is notified that the prize information is available for pick-up to pick up their prize, unless an earlier deadline is communicated by Station to the contest winner. Prizes not claimed within that 10 day period, or in the case of a time sensitive prize, within its period of usability, shall be considered forfeited and will become property of Station. Such prize may be disposed of at the discretion of Station Management.
15. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein or stated on-air, no person will be entitled to receive any prize until after their eligibility has been confirmed or accepted by Station and all required paperwork (including, without limitation, liability release agreements) have been completed by the pending winner within the required deadlines.
16. Prizes will be released to winners only. Winners are required to present a valid state photo ID and valid social security number in order to pick up any prize. All winners are required to sign a Release relieving the Station, its parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents and contest sponsors from any and all liability with respect to the contestant’s participation in the contest and the receipt and/or use of the prize. Any person who refuses to sign the Release and/or provide a social security number will forfeit the contest prize.
17. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for all contests and giveaways. Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.
18. Winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prize, as set forth in the contest rules, and will be issued an IRS 1099 form for all prizes won from Station where the aggregate value of all prizes is $600 or more.
19. Station is not responsible for prizes, prize information or documents which are lost or misdelivered by the postal service or carrier. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected, time permitting.
OTHER RULES:
20. By participating in the contest, participants consent to KNDD-FM, Entercom Seattle, LLC, and their affiliates, employees, agents and all other related sponsors using for advertising and/or other promotional purposes, without additional compensation, all contestants' and winners', image, voice and/or biographical information on radio or TV broadcasts, newspaper advertisements and/or any other medium in connection with the contestants' participation with the contest.
21. By entering this contest, entrants agree that KNDD-FM and other participating sponsors and their associated companies and sponsors accept no responsibility of liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from (a) participation in the contest and/or (b) the acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize awarded hereunder.
22. KNDD-FM reserves the right to terminate or declare this contest null and void and rescind any contest awards if in sole judgment, the rules or the integrity of this contest have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a participant in this contest.
23. KNDD-FM management shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the contest and the interpretation of contest rules. The decisions of KNDD-FM shall be final.
24. Entry into station contests constitutes agreement by contestants to abide by these rules.
25. All federal, state and local laws and restrictions apply. This contest is void where prohibited.

27. Station reserves the right to: (i) alter or amend these Contest rules at any time; and (ii) stop or conclude the Contest at any time without prior notice. Material changes to the contest rules will be broadcast on-air, when practical.
28. Winner’s List: For a list of winners mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Station address identifying the name of the particular contest that you would like to receive a winner’s list for. The Station address is [insert Station address]. All requests for winner lists must be mailed and received by the Station after the contest is over but prior to 4 months after the contest has been concluded.
29. These are general contest rules applying to all Endolocity contests on KNDD but prizes and rules for individual contests may vary. To the extent that any specific contest rules for a particular Endolocity differ from these rules, the specific contest rules as announced on-air will govern and control. |
